This is an interesting response to the monopoly that the iPod holds over the MP3 market.
I've seen this ad a few times on the tube and it really cut-through with me. I was intrigued and had a look at their website. It uses political language like manifesto and propaganda. It calls for 'all free thinkers' and offers this product as an alternative; this product being the new SanDisk Sansa e200.
Interestingly, it's taken the iconic advertising for the iPod and subverted it. Everything about this campaign is rebellious and shouts attitude with a capital A.
It's a more than credible attempt to overthrow the power of the iPod and it should be a campaign that'll grow, keep people intrigued and continue to re-mix popular culture.
Nice work.
